15th of September.... viva Mexico

Time flies... Everyday I want to write something about our experiences and adventures.... but I am too busy living the live. Our day started with Yoga in our hostel. A very good way to start into a new day. The 1 1/2 hours were very good and even though most of the instruction were in Spanish we picked up very well and our body was very thankful for the exercice. Let´s see if we manage to do this more frequently together... I hope so. Today is the 15th of September. The Mexican independance day. Well, they start to celebrating today and finish tomorrow or at the end of the weekend... After the Yoga we went to the Zocalo (city center) to the market to eat some autentic Mexican food cooked right there. We had delicious food I can´t pronounce the name and haven´t seen it before, but is very good. Everywhere on the streets a beautiful smell of food comes into your nose and you want to try everything... On every block is a lady selling their self baked goods. Later on we will see the boiled corn with Mayo and cheese. Very good food for a very good price. We are really enjoying our time. Now we need to figure out when we will go to Palenque and when and how to cross the boarder to Guatemala... Decissions, decissions. We are joined by a Frensh Canadian lady and a guy from Seattle. So we are listening to their experiences and stories and trying new foods together. And there is a lot to try. Need to go and I hope the Fiasta Mexicana will be a good one tonight. They just started to errect stages on the main placa and a band is doing sound check. I guess a lot of traditional mexican music, cerveca and Mezcal are awaiting us. What a party we had... Can't tell you too many details... Viva Mexico...
